FAQ

RCS Messaging – frequently asked questions

What is RCS messaging?

RCS (Rich Communication Services) is the upgrade of SMS. Messages arrive in the phone's default messaging app with your verified brand name and logo, and can carry images, carousels and buttons.

Does the customer need to install an app?

No. RCS works in the default Google Messages app on supported Android phones.

What happens if a phone does not support RCS?

Only RCS-capable numbers receive the RCS message. For the others you can send a normal SMS campaign from the same panel.

How is RCS charged?

RCS is charged per message from your prepaid wallet. Rates depend on the message type – ask our team for a quote.

Can RCS messages have buttons and images?

Yes. RCS supports rich cards, carousels, images, videos and buttons such as Call, Open URL, Reply and Location, so customers can act directly from the message.

How do I get a verified RCS sender?

We help you create and verify your brand agent with Google – your logo, name and a verified badge. Once approved, you can send campaigns from the panel or the API.
