Yes. OTP and other transactional messages are delivered to DND numbers, 24 hours a day.

Do I need a separate DLT template for OTP?

Yes. Register your OTP message as a transactional / service-implicit template on DLT with a variable for the code.

Can I test the OTP API before going live?

What happens if an OTP is not delivered?

Failed OTPs are reported back at once through the API and the delivery report, so your app can retry or offer a voice / e-mail fallback. Credits for messages rejected by the operator are not lost.

Is the OTP API secure?

Yes. The API works only over HTTPS with your secret API key, and you can allow requests from your own server IPs only. OTP content is never shown to our staff.
